Butt Welded Super Duplex A182 Gr.F53 Side Entry Raised Face Ball Valve
The fully-welded ball valve adopts forged material, welded body, instead of bolts and nuts, to aviod any potential leakage from body.
Mertrial Specification:
ASTM A182 F53 equates to UNS S32750. This is the 25% Cr super duplex stainless steel most widely promoted by Sandvik as SAF2507. With an increased chromium content compared with F51 it offers improved pitting corrosion resistance. The yield strength is also higher, allowing component designers to reduce section size for load-bearing applications.
ASTM A182 F53, which is a super duplex stainless steel with a 50:50 austenite and ferrite microstructure. Super Duplex DIN 1.4410 Round Bars provides excellent corrosion resistance and strength properties. Super Duplex SAF 2507 Round Bars has 25 percent chromium, 4 percent molybdenum, and 7 percent nickel. This high molybdenum, chromium and nitrogen content results in excellent resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion attack and the duplex structure provides Super Duplex 2507 Round Bars with exceptional resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking. Super Duplex UNS S32750 Round Bars has lower coefficient of thermal expansion than austenitic stainless steels, and also higher thermal conductivity than austenitic stainless steels. These Super Duplex F53 Round Bars are often used in offshore platforms, heat exchangers, process and service water systems, fire-fighting systems, injection and ballast water systems, etc.
MAIN FEATURES:
Having a duplex microstructure the Super Duplex Valves have many properties that give these fittings a longer service life. For instance, as compared to regularly used carbon steels or stainless steel grades the Super Duplex Stainless Steel Ball Valves have increased tensile strength, superior corrosion resistance properties and have the ability to withstand elevated temperature settings. Additionally, an important property is that the Super Duplex Ball Valves are known to have a Higher PREN value that makes them resilient to pitting in corrosive environments. Super Duplex stainless steel valves are widely used in various industries such as chemical industry, seawater desalination, shipbuilding, petrochemical industry, oil and gas because of their extreme corrosion resistance and high strength.
